Welcome to the Plainville Fire Company Hot Air Balloon Festival website. This free event is open to everyone to come and enjoy. The festival originated as a way to celebrate the Fire Company's 100th anniversary. It has since grown to become a part of our community as a way to spend time with friends and family before fall activities begin.

The festival continues to entertain thousands of people each year, over 20,000 attended in 2006. Members of the Fire Company spend many long hours in preparation of this event. During the event you'll see the members managing festival activities, working hard in their novelties booth and making such great food! Thank you to all the local businesses, community contributions and you for help making this a successful event.
